SkillsFuture Credit is money the government sets aside for Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above to spend on approved courses. Claiming it is done online, on MySkillsFuture, with your Singpass. Here's how.
Before you start
- Singpass on your phone.
- An invoice from your training provider that shows the SkillsFuture Credit amount you want to use. Tell the provider you're using your credit, so they can put it on the invoice.
- PayNow linked to your NRIC. SkillsFuture needs this before you submit a claim, or you'll see an error.
- Any other documents the form asks for, such as a receipt, proof of payment or your course registration confirmation.
Timing: you can submit your claim up to 60 days before your course starts, and no later than the course start date itself.
The steps
Log in to MySkillsFuture
Go to myskillsfuture.gov.sg and log in with Singpass (scan the QR code with the Singpass app, or use password login).
Find your course
Check Course Enrolment first. If your training provider has already sent your enrolment in, your course will be listed there. If not, go to Submit a Claim and search by the course reference number, course title or training provider name.
Pick your course run
Select the run (class dates) you signed up for. If it isn't listed, key in your course start date.
Answer the Mid-Career question, if you see it
Some courses ask whether you want to use your SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career). That top-up is only for Citizens aged 40 and above. If you're 39 or younger, select No. Not sure which to pick? Ask your training provider before you submit.
Fill in the claim and upload your invoice
Key in the fee details and the amount of credit you want to use. Upload the invoice and any supporting documents asked for.
Review and submit
Check everything, accept the terms, and submit. You can follow the status of your claim in your MySkillsFuture account.
After you submit
If you've already paid the fee yourself, SkillsFuture pays the approved amount to the PayNow account linked to your NRIC, usually within 30 days of your claim. If it hasn't come through by then, contact SkillsFuture Singapore through their service portal.

Your credit, our courses
Our two-day courses are $800 before funding. After SkillsFuture funding, most learners pay $240 (Citizens 40+ and SME-sponsored staff) or $400 (Citizens 21–39 and PRs). Final funding is confirmed at enrolment, and GST applies on the full fee.
If you're a Singapore Citizen aged 25 or above, you can use your SkillsFuture Credit for the nett fee. We'll send you an invoice showing the amount, ready to upload with your claim.
