What you'll experience

Slow down. Learn to draw.
Make something that's yours.

🎨

Learn to draw from zero

Brushes, colour, light — and finding your own style. No experience needed; we start at the very beginning, together.

📔

A time-lapse journal of your progress

Procreate quietly records every artwork as a video. Yours to keep, replay, and show the people you love.

🤲

And when you're ready — if ever

You'll know exactly how to share your art beautifully. Private, close friends, or the world. Your choice.

Blank canvas → finished piece

One painting,
stroke by stroke.

This is what drawing in Procreate actually looks like: rough shapes first, then brushes, layers and texture, until the piece comes together. Every stroke is recorded, so the time-lapse builds itself.

The finished piece
Apple Pencil colouring a cartoon cat on an iPad in Procreate
Colouring the character
Procreate brush settings open while painting a glowing moon
Tuning a brush
A painted town by the water building up on the iPad canvas
Building the scene
Close-up of painted flowers and grass texture on the iPad screen

Questions, answered

Frequently asked

I can't draw at all. Can I join?
Yes — the course starts from zero. Most learners have never drawn digitally before, and many haven't drawn at all since school. That's exactly who this class is designed for.
Do I have to post my art on social media?
No. You'll learn how sharing works, and you complete course activities in class — but what you do with your art afterwards is entirely up to you. Many learners keep everything private.
What do I need to bring?
An iPad and Apple Pencil. Procreate is a one-time ~US$13 purchase — no subscription. If you don't own an iPad, ask us about loan units when you register (availability to be confirmed).
Why is the official course name about social media?
This run is delivered under our approved Content Creation & Strategy course, which is what makes it SkillsFuture-claimable — with digital art in Procreate as the medium. You get both skills for one course.
How do SkillsFuture claims work?
The full fee is $800, with up to 70% SkillsFuture subsidy for eligible learners — a nett fee from $240. You can offset the nett fee with SkillsFuture Credit or PSEA, and NTUC members can claim UTAP on top. We'll walk you through it before class.
Is the artwork on this page by learners?
No. The painting and process shots on this page were made in Procreate by our trainer, to show what the app can do. In class you start from zero and work at your own pace.
